"She was always the first to do something nice for someone else, whether it was baking a cake, or giving a smile or a hug. Her greatest joys were her husband of 55 years, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and Chica, too."

She is survived by her husband, Ken of Anchorage; son Kenneth Jr. of Anchorage; son and daughter-in-law Robert and Diana of Anchorage; Richard and Becky of Wasilla; grandchildren, Chad, Chris, Heath, Kari, Rich, Hilary and Katy; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brother, Dan Aylward of Anchorage; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Francine Aylward of Seattle; and sister, Alice White of Anchorage.
