Former Alaska resident Raymond Richcreek, 68, died Feb. 11, 2005, at Life Care Center in Auburn, Wash.
No service is planned.
Born Sept. 15, 1936, in Grant County, Ind., he graduated from Fortville High School in Fortville, Ind., and served in the U.S. Navy.
He graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering and married Peggy Cushman in December 1957 in Fortville. He lived in the South County area for 16 years.
Mr. Richcreek was self-employed as an electrician in Alaska from 1951 to 1987.
He was employed by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Washington and White Alice System in Alaska, retiring in 2000.
He was a member of the Washington Pilots Association, Green River Chapter, and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
Mr. Richcreek enjoyed flying, especially taking children on their first ride.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Richcreek of Auburn; son, David Richcreek of Mukilteo, Wash.; daughters, Colette Dowhen of Manheim, Pa., and Denise Hardy of Anchorage; sister, Doris Tilton of Fortville; and six grandchildren.
